We curate multimedia events, where the profits from art sales and performances go straight to both the organizations we believe in and the artists involved.
We stand for equal opportunity, social progress, and creating lasting impacts on the community. We see the potential in each other at every intersection, and we think sharing our experiences through art can directly impact the organizations that believe in us too.
We are driven by empathy, education, momentum, and transformation- all of which emerge from the arts. We want to bring out the best in each other at Outwork, exploring the spaces between us and within us so we can move better together.
From joining together in solidarity, to reminding each other of our own humanity, to establishing viable creative objectives, to directly impacting organizations that prioritize fairness and opportunity for all people, we want to do work.
When we are at our best, we practice speaking with sensitivity. We look for better words, to be more inclusive, less oppressive, and more supportive of those of us who have been stripped of the opportunity to fairly represent themselves. But sometimes language doesn't quite cut it. Outwork was created by artists compelled to create in these liminal spaces. Because it's what holds us together.
